Hello, and welcome to His Gospel of Grace ministry website.

You have probably heard the analogies comparing us as Christ’s people to the eagle, the most majestic of birds. However something that may be new to you as it was to me, is that an eagle will never learn to soar but will only ever walk, except for one thing, the eagle absolutely must have “an example to accomplish the miracle of flight. Eaglets taken away from other eagles never learn to soar but rather walk around like chickens.” *

In a real way His Gospel Grace ministries blog is about eagles. This site is about you and me in Jesus, and God’s call to us as His eagles, to wait on Christ and His word, that we may rise up on His Wings into the stormy winds that we each must face in our days, and that we may run and be not weary, and may we walk not faint as we walk on in Jesus.

I have begun this site because of the great need we each have of each other’s encouragement and the Word of God’s Truth of Jesus which we so need if we are to learn to learn the skills we possess in Christ.

“Speaking the Truth in love one to another, grow up into Him in all things which is the Head, even Christ.” Eph. 4:15

“Be you followers of me as I am of Christ.” 1 Cor. 11:1,

Paul is saying that we can follow him, as he follows Christ in living. Jesus Himself tells us how He does live, He lives by the Life of His Father:

“Whoever eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He that eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, is he who lives in Me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats Me, even he shall live by Me.” John 6:54 -57

Blaise Pascal, a brother in Christ who lived here in the 1600’s, in his book The Pensées, says that we each know something of God from our relationship with Him in Jesus, which if we do not share with others, no one will never get to enjoy until our Face to face with Him in Eternity. So Paul telling about his own heart beat in Acts, says about his trials and struggles,

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the Gospel of the Grace of God.” Acts 20:24

And so I write this blog to share with you some of the wonders of flight and Life that is ours in Jesus Christ. As I share in my own Gospel of Grace Testimony on one of the pages here, testifying to God’s Gospel Grace of Christ is His passionate call that He has put in my heart, and there is nothing I delight to do more than share with you the New Creation Life who Jesus in us.

The Gospel Grace of Jesus is taking us where we can never go in our own strength. As we determinedly go on and upward through faith in Jesus and Life in us, we will live as God’s eagles who can “let the storm winds carry them high into sky riding updrafts that may take them more than 20,000 feet above the ground.”*

Talk about going into our “high places!” “He sets me upon my high places.” Psalm 18:33

This is my why, energy and desire for this site. Though there are a good number of other sites that also richly proclaim The Gospel of God’s Grace in Jesus, the need for each one of us is real and God-ordained. How God wants to move uniquely through all of us so that His eaglets may be further learn, be comforted and strengthened to learn fly by their wings in Him, learning to ever go more freely on in the heights of Christ’s Love and Life. This following statement by Richard Halverson for many years the US Senate Chaplain, parallels my own experience of seeing so many Christians living stuck in legalism, and condemnation, and reflects part of the reason I am so passionate about sharing God’s new and only Life for us, His Living Way–Christ:

“I believe this [Christ in you] theme is the great unrealized reality in the body of Christ. It is not taken seriously at all. Every Christian mouths the words ‘Christ in you, the hope of glory’ and ‘I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me’. These phrases are even memorized by many believers. Though Christians think that Christ-in-you is a nice thing to believe, they stiill think they have to DO something. Christ-in-you is a fundamental theme in the Bible that is just not taken seriously.”

This site will share some of the details of the Treasure and living Victory who is Christ that myself and others have found along the journey so far. The Lord is taking each of us yet deeper in the detail, joy and fruitfulness who is our Christ for He alone who is the satisfaction of our heart’s deepest yearnings, giving us our real and greatest desire:

“The Desire of the Nations has come.” Haggai 2:7

For my determined purpose is that I may know Jesus, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly, and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transfigured into His likeness even to His death, in the hope that if possible I may attain to the spiritual and moral resurrection that lifts me out from among the dead even while in the body.” Phil. 3:10
